Bad weather for chocolate! We've been trying our best to keep our chocolate at the quality you've come accustomed to, and even though we've had a couple of casualties during this weather, we thought we should impart some chocolate care wisdom:

1. Chocolate likes to be kept at a temperature between 18-20°c. This will make sure any fillings are soft and the bars have a good *snap* to them.

2. If however your chocolate melts, do not put it straight in the fridge as it will bloom (white streaks) and the texture will be chalky. Instead let it sit in the coolest part of your home out of direct sunlight. Once it stops being a liquid mess then you should be safe to put it in your fridge to help it set fully.

3. As with 1 chocolate doesn't like being in cold temperatures but as long as it doesn't go from hot to cold or vice versa too quickly then it will still be good enough to eat!

To those of you that will inevitably message me to say you prefer your chocolate from the fridge, that's great!

That's your preference and there's nothing wrong with that.

This was just to help you keep your chocolate at its peak quality. Especially at the moment!
