Perched on the edge of the historic Bristol Harbourside, The Ostrich sits proudly with its huge riverside beer garden and cosy interiors over two floors. Upstairs, the recently refurbished ‘Top Deck’ dining space and bar is available for private hire with stunning views over the harbour, while downstairs our main bar space is ideal for a quiet pint and a bite to eat. Outside, our Portside BBQ serves up amazing Americana-inspired street food to one of Bristol’s best beer gardens, with a mix of suntrap seating areas & shady spots. Please note outside tables are available on a first come, first served basis, and cannot be booked. Food and drink can be easily ordered to your table via OrderPay. We’re child-friendly, dog-friendly, and LGBTQIA+ friendly, with plenty of space for small and large groups, so everyone’s welcome at The Ostrich. Don’t forget to pay a visit to our ‘smugglers’ cave’ for a true slice of Bristol heritage!

You're invited to join us for the second annual Ostrich Art Exhibition. Kicking off with a launch night party on Friday the 13th of November at 6pm, the exhibition will then be available to view from 12-10pm until Friday the 20th of November. This is a completely FREE event for the community to enjoy!

Enjoy free welcome drinks and canapes from our team of chefs.

The exhibition will take place in our 'Top Deck' second floor dining room and will feature paintings, photography, ceramics, mixed media and more. Spanning a variety of themes, the exhibition spotlights local artists all with a connection to the Ostrich.

The exhibitors include; Molly Mitchell, Ella Hemsworth, Gabriella Bignardi, Caitlin Booton and more.

Meet the artists, enjoy the art, engage with the community, maybe indulge in a drink or two...

What an evening with , celebrating our collaboration b**r, Hops & Glory, at the debut ‘Battle of the Brewers’ event at The Prince of Burford!

Guests enjoyed a fantastic selection of b**rs from both breweries, perfectly paired with canapés, while hearing the stories from behind each brew from the experts who brought them to life.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special- we can’t wait to do it all again at the sold-out Battle of the Brewers event at The Punch Bowl in London. See you there! 🍻
