⚠️ Traffic Notice: Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles.
📌 Location: A432 Badminton Road.
⏰ Date: from 9th February 2026 for an anticipated period of 12 weeks, between the hours of 6PM to 6AM.

"Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to:-
a) close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of A432 Badminton Road which extends from its junction with Nibley Lane to its roundabout junction with Culvert Avenue; and
b) suspend, temporarily, when signs are covered, the South Gloucestershire Council (Weight Restriction Zone – Frampton Cotterell Area) (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles of over 7.5 Tonnes Maximum Gross Weight) Order 2001 in so far as it relates to the length of road specified in the Schedule to this notice to facilitate the diversion route.
This order is required for the following reason: in connection with CRSTS active travel works. The order will be operative from 9 February 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months.
The restrictions however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 12 weeks duration, between the hours of 6pm and 6am.
Schedule: Church Road, Frampton Cotterell – from A432 Badminton Road to B4058 Bristol Road.
Alternative route: Alternative Route Via A432 (part unaffected), Stover Road, Yate Road, B4059, B4058, Church Road, A432 (part unaffected) vice versa.
