Important community shout out!!

We’re looking forward to welcoming our newest neighbours, SUPER NATURE , to the street in the coming weeks. It’s shaping up to be both an important and exciting new addition to the city. But they need all of our support to get them over the line and get open. They are running a crowdfunder which has a couple more weeks to run, and they need the support of the music and nightlife community to help them reach their target.

It is so important to the health and the continued success and viability of the culture in Bristol that there are as many truly independent venues, run by people who are in it for the right reasons, as possible. It is really really tough to be able to open a venue from scratch if you haven’t got the big corporate money behind you in some way. Particularly in the current climate. Ben and Sophie have been dreaming of and planning this venue for over 2 years now. They’ve poured all their savings, as well as their blood, sweat and tears, to get to this point. And they now need everyone to just buy a few pints or glasses of wine in advance to finally realise their vision and get the doors open at Super Nature.

Just a heads up the yakshackbristol will having this week off as they have got a week long residency at the ever-excellent The Scrandit on Christmas Steps!

We wish them the best of luck with it, and we hope as many people as possible pass through to discover their delicious food!! They will be back with us with a return to the full menu from next week, Tuesday 15th September as we settle in for the autumn and winter and cosier evenings in the pub…

Tucha will be serving up her wonderful roasts as usual on Sunday. Yesterday was absolute roadblock so we advise booking in advance to guarantee your spot ❤️
