This don comes and kills it at the start of every month without any questions, and while it's always a slammer, we do feel that it does sometimes go under the radar! He's been doing it for us for time as well, and the label and his productions are top notch, big ups Amo👌

Throwback to last Wednesday at The Pipe. What a night! 😂😮‍💨

Shouts to everyone who passed through, and a massive shout to the man himself, Jeru The Damaja, for blessing us once again with not just his selections, but also his all round energy, vibe and positivity. A wicked set of rare groove, 80s soul, boogie and disco, spanning the roots of Hip Hop. 😎

The third time we’ve been lucky enough to be able to host him over a period of about 12 or 13 years! But twice in two years now, and while the previous ones were super last minute, this one we were able to get the word out in advance and it was properly wicked all night. Out to all the heads that reached and made it such a good night. Shouts also to who came straight from the airport to catch the last hour. Legends inside the building. Their show at the academy the next night was 🔥.

Proud to be able to call Jeru a friend of The Pipe. Proper hip hop royalty, and a proper stand up human being to go with it 🫡

And finally a special mention to all those who only found out after the event and couldn’t believe they missed it. Maybe there’ll be a part 4 at some point in the future… 👀

Wow, we are still reeling after an incredible night with Jeru The Damaja stepping up to the decks last night - big ups all the Bristol heads that came down with a few days notice for a special midweek one!

Some more photos and videos to follow once we've got our heads together, but for now let's turn our attention back to the local legends coming through this weekend..

The party outfit Grapevine return tonight for their monthly residency, before SWU.FM breakfast don and best friend of the pub smashes Friday. Paul Bozak Morrissey have Saturday sorted with their undeniably reliable selections, while ends things on Sunday with a bit of (rub a) dub down the pub.
