Patio is now complete just in time for the bank holiday!

We’re incredibly grateful to Kevin, who has worked so hard around a full-time job to get this finished for us. A big thank you also to Matt and Steve for helping get everything dug out!

The front of the pub now looks much tidier, the winter mud bath is finally gone, and thankfully so is the risk of falling into holes dug by the dogs — after all, no one wants to end up wearing their drink! 🍺😂

We understand it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but there are so many positives:

✅ More accessible
✅ Cleaner and tidier
✅ More comfortable outdoor seating
✅ Easier to maintain all year round
✅ Safer for both customers and staff

We’re really pleased with how it’s turned out and can’t wait to welcome everyone over the bank holiday to enjoy it with us ☀️🍻

A huge thank you again to everyone involved in transforming the front of the pub - We are still awaiting our new umbrellas to arrive so watch this space!

Bathampton Morris Men formed in 1934 in the small village of Bathampton, just east of the city of Bath in the Cotswolds. We dance in villages and towns around Bathampton to celebrate the milestones of the year, from Plough Sunday in January, to St George’s Day, May Day and on into Summer.
