We appreciate the patience of Bedminster Down residents on the refurbishment of the ‘Cross Hands’ , work will recommence soon. We want to reaffirm Wring Group’s determination to re-open a revitalized ‘Cross Hand’s pub serving families in the Bedminster Down community.

LOCAL APPEAL!! With the renovations well underway we would really love to locate the original hanging sign which went missing when the pub closed down. If anyone knows the whereabouts and would like to return it so it can be refurbished and rehung it would be appreciated 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Planning Permission has been approved!!! 👏🏻Now time for the hard work to start to get the much loved community pub open!

Although disappointingly with the construction works ahead we will not be open for Christmas as originally hoped.

If any local trades people would be interested in quoting for different aspects of the construction works please get in touch.

To keep everyone updated - It is disappointing to report that our planning application is still in the hands of BCC who are experiencing a significant backlog due to resource issues. We had hoped for a decision by now. The waiting game continues and we will update you all once we receive any news. 🤞🤞

Proposed renovation plans have now been submitted to BCC!! We hope to receive the support from the local community and BCC so we can get the renovation works underway! Fingers crossed :) We will keep you posted on any developments.
