Decades of top quality events have made the building become renowned for being one of the South’s major dance music institutions. The Arch has been conceptualised with the distinct mission of revamping and overhauling the space to once again to rejuvenate Brighton’s night life and restoring its former glory as the centre of the South’s underground movement. A venue that has been host to the worlds finest DJ’s including Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, Annie Mac, Deadmau5, Jamie Jones, Sven Vath and many more has been rebuilt, rebranded and reignited with forward thinking and experimental music policies.

This one is a bit special.

Steady & ƐKOW first linked up spontaneously at Gemfest, and what started as an unplanned session quickly became something seriously special.

Since then, they’ve taken their dubstep + live sax combination to Alt-Lab, bringing together rolling basslines and live instrumentation in a way you don’t get to see every day.

25 years on from the release of their debut album Onka’s Big Moka, Toploader are back on the road for a hotly anticipated UK tour, and they’re bringing it to Quarters this October.

Best known for the timeless Dancing in the Moonlight, alongside Achilles Heel and Only for a While, the band have spent the last two decades building a reputation for huge live shows and a catalogue that’s firmly cemented them in British indie history.

Joining them, Rosellas bringing their own take on classic British guitar music to the Quarters stage.

One of the biggest names coming through the new generation of UK drum & bass lands at Quarters this November.

From dropping his debut album at 19 to building his own Crowd Control rave concept, securing a BBC Radio 1 residency and selling out London’s Roundhouse, K Motionz has spent the last few years pushing his sound well beyond the underground.

His production sits across the full spectrum of D&B - heavyweight bass, dancefloor energy, darker rollers and everything in between.

Since 2000, Mungo’s Hi Fi have been carrying the sound system tradition forward from Glasgow, blending the roots of Jamaican reggae, dub and dancehall with the UK’s ever evolving bass culture.

And of course, they don’t just play on a soundsystem. They bring their own.

Built from the ground up and constantly evolved over the years, the Mungo’s rig started with speakers found in a Glasgow skip and has grown into the heavyweight bespoke system it is today. Built for warmth, weight and serious low-end pressure.

Serum. Voltage. Bladerunner.

Three names deeply embedded in the drum & bass scene, brought together as Kings Of The Rollers. A project built around rolling breaks, heavyweight basslines and a deep rooted connection to jungle. From their 2018 breakthrough with ‘Burnt Ends’ through releases on Hospital and a catalogue of their own, they’ve carved out a sound that sits firmly in the DNA of modern D&B.

Now, Kings Of The Rollers come to Quarters on Friday 27th November.
