It is still 1985's 18th annual Pride party is this Saturday at Green Door Store. We love being with you all year round, but we all know this is a special weekend, and these parties never fail to be the perfect way to cap off an amazing Pride Saturday.

There's a lot of trying to be cool going around. Face facts, it's pointless. Firstly, because you are not cool and you never will be no matter how hard you try. Secondly, like EuGH, who can be bothered? Just stop trying. It's not cool.

What you really need is to dance around to a lot of very good and very bad 80s music so you can feel the high of when popular music was still made by people with brilliant ideas before the corporate hellscape we now exist in took over, and the terror/joy of realising they too, were surrounded by popstars with awful ideas. Ideas that now seem bizarrely fun, even though they were very obviously trying to build their own version of a corporate hellscape. But it was an 80s corporate hellscape. Compared to today, it's basically cute.

Personal growth can wait. Just bring your pretending- to-be-cool-self to the party at the Green Door on a Saturday.

There's a reason this party has been going every week for 18 years. It's called 'being an enjoyable party to attend'.

Ok, time to stop lying around in your house and Cher yourself with others. It's Saturday night, and just like every other Saturday night in 2026 - it is still 1985.

A massive dose of 80s from 11pm at Green Door Store will take away those January blues and take away Cher's proverbial heartache. We are that someone.
