A great opportunity has arisen for someone to take over the kitchen franchise at The Foundry in the North Laine.

We’d love to find someone fresh and exciting, with a passion for good food and the ambition to grow and develop their own business.

Applicants will be able to design and produce their own seasonal menu, promote and advertise the kitchen via social media and be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen and its staff.

£9.50ph to start, experience not essential but obviously helps. One, two shifts per week, mainly weekends/nights, holidays accumulated, 20% staff discount and a load of fun regulars to chat to.

And so begins the heatwave.

It's Friday and we've got Professor Hard Times spinning some tunes this evening from 4pm. Always a class set from the Professor.

But until then I'll be playing some of the best northern indie summer bangers this side of the devide. Including one of the best to come from my home town, Liverpool. Spring Tide. The lads are having a listening party with the great on Monday 11th from 8pm. We'll have it on here so come ave a pint an give ya ears some love.
