Orange w**e might just be the most misunderstood w**e on the menu! 🍊🍷

Despite its name, orange w**e has absolutely nothing to do with oranges. It’s actually made from white grapes, but unlike traditional white w**e, the grape skins are left in contact with the juice during fermentation. This ancient w**emaking technique gives orange w**e its beautiful golden, amber and deep copper tones, along with a distinctive flavour and texture.

So, what does it taste like? Expect a fascinating combination of dried apricots, citrus peel, orange blossom, honey and subtle herbal notes. Depending on the grape variety and how it’s made, you might also discover hints of nuts, spice and black tea. The extended skin contact creates gentle tannins, giving orange w**e a fuller body and a slightly grippy finish that’s quite different from your usual glass of white.

One of the best things about orange w**e is its versatility with food. Its depth and structure make it a brilliant pairing for everything from rich cheeses and charcuterie to spicy dishes, roasted vegetables and beautifully seasoned meats.

It’s bold, complex and full of character. Somewhere between the freshness of a white w**e and the structure of a red, orange w**e offers something a little different for anyone looking to explore beyond their usual favourites.
