An independent restaurant and wine shop featuring exceptional and carefully sourced wines, twisted classic cocktails and aperitivos, and ingredient-led seasonal dishes bursting with umami flavors. We are working in partnership with local wine merchant The Butlers Wine Cellar to source interesting wines from around the world. We will offer well-selected artisan cheeses, cured meats and fish, gourmet pâtés and terrines, healthy salads, pickled vegetables and preserves. We will provide a friendly and casual place to eat and drink throughout the day or pick up something to take home. We also have a tasting room downstairs for events private parties and meetings.

Last Sunday I was enjoying a long lunch in Restaurante El Faro de Cádiz , an amazing lunch flanked with outstanding w**es both fortified and not!

It doesn't matter how many times I visit my favourite spot in Europe, the w**es evolve, improve and absolutely blow my mind!

Tasting the W**es of Raul Moreno Thursday 1st October

Tickets £45pp

Following on from Paul's recent trip to see one of Spain's exciting new wave of w**emakers, Raul Moreno, Paul and James Hands from Iberian W**e Importers Raymond Reynolds will be pouring his w**es for one fabulous evening.

Raul's w**es are a beautiful expression of his vision for the w**es of his home province, Cadiz in Southern Spain.

Your ticket price includes four glasses of Raul’s w**es across his various styles.

Our A La Carte menu will be available in the evening, priced separately, in addition to some really special Andalusian inspired dishes created by Sam. Eat as much or little as you like with the option of a couple more of Raul’s w**es available to purchase.

On Thursday 1st October we will be joined by one of our favourite suppliers; James Hands of Iberian W**e Importers, Raymond Reynolds for the evening.

James and Paul will be pouring w**es from one of Spain's exciting new wave of w**emakers; Raul Moreno. Raul's w**es are a beautiful expression of his vision for the w**es of his home province, Cadiz, in Southern Spain.

Tickets are £45 which includes four glasses of Raul’s w**es across his various styles. Reservations will be taken between 6pm - 9.30pm.

As a w**e focussed restaurant, we are looking for individuals with experience in, and a passion for w**e. This is an exciting opportunity to work with 100s of w**es and fantastic food in a busy restaurant environment looking after our wonderful guests and working alongside the Restaurant Manager, Bar Team and Owners.

With over 200 years of family history in the Douro, Kit will guide us through four beautiful Passagem w**es, sharing the stories behind this exciting project.

Throughout the evening our full à la carte menu will be available, alongside a selection of Portuguese-inspired specials created by Sam following Anna's recent visit to the region. You can order as much or as little as you would like!

Martini of the moment! 'The Wormwood Rogue'

We are celebrating two botanical powerhouses; first off we have Botivo , a powerfully bittersweet aperitif made in Lannock Farm in Hertfordshire.

This is majestically paired with Regal Rogue Daringly Dry vermouth from New South Wales, Australia.

We have used Fabrica Mikolasch ® to bring the two together and lifted the whole thing with zesty orange peel.

The wormwood really shines here, making a complex but refreshing martini.

Perfectly thirst quenching.
