Only a few days left to fill your pie hole: the Chicken Ruby Pie. Cooked up with friend and pie-making legend, Chef Calum Franklin.

Rich-and-velvety chicken makhani in flower-stamped buttery short-crust pastry. Served with garlic-dill mash, chilli-perked peas and good & proper sauce.

Very few pies are made fresh each morning. Available ’til 19th April,12pm–5pm only, whilst they last. Ask your server to order.

Neil from symplicity. dropped into Permit Room Brighton to visit Chef Rishi. They made breakfast worth rolling out of bed for.

The Veg. Sausage & Egg Naan Roll.

Freshly-baked naan. Cleverly fermented, crispy-smashed veggie patty with runny-yolked fried eggs. Umami loaded. (Go vegan - ask your server.)

In 1949, liquor was banned in Bombay. Enterprising Aunties deftly served drinks from their front rooms, undeterred. By the 1970s the law was loosened up, and permit holders (having obtained their liquor permits ‘for the preservation or maintenance of health’) could buy alcohol. Find our permits located around the city, in return, a cocktail (or teetotal) of your choice 🍸
