Hi folks. Just a little update from our family at The Crow 🐦⬛ Bar & Kitchen. As we all know a collection of crows is called a ‘mur**r of crows’ and as you are reading this you must be a follower and a member of the crow family too so glad to have so many amazing customers in our ‘mur**r’ hahaha.
There are so many great pubs, bars and restaurants in and around Rastrick, Brighouse and the surrounding area. We honestly believe that variety is the spice of life. Each amazing local venue is so different in what’s on offer -
Great pubs with darts, pool, pub grub, beer gardens and a packed calendar of entertainment and quizzes.
Pubs that concentrate purely on great drinks and beer gardens and entertainment too.
Restaurants that are haute cuisine & silver service.
Bars that have great drinks and food sourced from other local venues.
Bars like ours where we focus on great food and drinks without the addition of pool tables, darts, sports TV or entertainment such as karaoke.
We have always tried to support all other local businesses and don’t hesitate to recommend them when our guests want something we don’t offer. That’s why we have been taken aback this weekend. We had some lovely new customers in on Friday evening who were visiting family in the area. They had been in another local inn before paying us a visit and we were shocked to hear that this other local had told them we were a dead end pub!!
We have worked so hard to make The Crow a safe place for everyone over the last 8 years. Whether you’re on your own, with your partner, family or friends we guarantee a warm welcome and that you will never need to worry about whether your mum/grandma/kids/yourself are going to run into someone enjoying the wrong kind of coke or using one too many profanities. We may not be a standard family in some peoples eyes but we share the same values as nearly all families do. We have an amazing couple of kids (well one is all grown up now and getting ready for her next move to uni) and the youngest is here with us as much as possible. We want him to be safe and able to enjoy the many joys of having dads who love looking after some wonderful customers. PS can you believe he is already 9? We still joke about how he was able to run under all the tables and into the old fireplace when we first opened (and it still feels like it was yesterday).
If you’ve got this far but actually think The Crow isn’t a great place to eat and drink and it is actually a ‘dead end pub’ then we would actually love to hear from you why? Feel free to send us a DM or comment here.
If you love us then please recommend us far and wide, share our offers and come see us again soon.
If we do ever get anything wrong for anyone who joins us we will always admit it and make things right because this is not just a business, it’s our home, the culmination of years of our hard work and a huge monetary investment in Rastrick. We want to share our ‘home’ with you all and hopefully we can continue to do so for many years to come.
