Bodie’s Bar & Grill - est. 2020 It started with a hole cut in the side of a garden shed and some optics from eBay. Then lockdown hit and the journey began. Roll on the good times!

Tried something different on the bbq tonight. Soaked a pineapple in rum, rubbed with brown sugar then cooked on the rotisserie for about 50 minutes. Absolutely delicious smells and tastes coming from the grill tonight. Got left with a cheeky pineapple rum to wash it all down too.

Shawarma and flatbreads on the menu to celebrate Kyrie’s birthday with friends.

Chicken thighs marinated overnight in olive oil, lime juice, garlic, chilli flakes, red onion, fresh parsley, turmeric, cumin, cinnamon, smoked paprika, white pepper and salt.

This is the perfect rotisserie dish, finished off with soft flatbreads, pickled red onion and garlic Mayo. Always very popular, never any leftovers.
