Chedzoy Pop-In for a Pint

Chedzoy Pop-In for a Pint Chedzoy Pop in for a Pint is a monthly social event for Chedzoy and other local residents. it is a fabulous way to meet people if you are new to the village.

It takes place on the first Friday of every month, from 7pm onwards, so if you have not been before then "Pop In" and say hello. The proceeds from Pop In supports many local good causes, so you are doing your bit with every drink!!

The rumours are true. There will be a Pop-In this Friday, to celebrate the middle of August (not that we need an excuse).

The bar will be open from 7pm

A massive thank you to everyone that gave their time and energy to the organising, setup and today's clear up of the Flower Show and Party in the Field. Making it yet another successful Village event.

Also, thank you to every single person that came to both events. It's only with your support that these events are successful. The residents of Chedzoy are what make it such an amazing village to live in.

**** Volunteers needed ****

Evening all.

We are in need of some willing volunteers to assist with the er****on of the VERY important Bar marquee, onto the side of the main marquee for Saturday's Party in the Field.

If you are available tomorrow (Thurs 30th) for an hour or 2, your help would be appreciated.

Meet at 12 Midday at the Village Hall.

Refreshments "may" be provided.

*** Party in the Field Tickets ***

We are now less than 2 weeks away from the Chedzoy Annual Flower Show which is followed by The Party in the Field, on the 1st August.

With not many tickets remaining for The Party in the Field, if you haven't got yours yet, be quick before they're gone.

As a reminder, the price of your ticket includes:
Pig Roast (Veggie option available)
Live music from Vinyl Act
A DJ in the form of DC Entertainment

Tickets are priced at £15 for Adults (16+) and £7.50 for Children (under 16).

Entry will require a ticket, ensure you get yours by commenting below, or messaging me direct.

The weather is looking good for Friday. So come on down to this month's Pop-In when the Freewheelers Blood Bikes will be on hand to talk about the important work that they carry out. You can also enjoy a BBQ courtesy of the Playing Field Commitee.

There are 3 very good reasons to come to next week's Pop In on Fri 3rd July.

1. We will be joined by the Freewheelers Blood Bikes. Who will be raising awareness of the work that they do.

2. There will be a BBQ, courtesy of the Playing Field Commitee.

3. You can pay for, and collect your reserved Party in the Field tickets. If you haven't reserved yours yet, be quick, they are selling fast!!

A little over a week ago, it was discovered that the village AED (Defibrillator) was unusable and at the end of it's use...

A little over a week ago, it was discovered that the village AED (Defibrillator) was unusable and at the end of it's useful life.

There was a request to see if a replacement could be funded by the proceeds of Pop-In. This was agreed by the Village Hall committee.

I can now report that a new AED has been purchased, and placed in the AED cabinet at the Village Hall ready for use in an emergency situation.

This is the main reason that Pop-In exists, to give back to the community that support it.

A massive thank you to all of you that come to Pop-In, whether that's regularly or occasionally. It's because of your continued support, that we can support the residents of Chedzoy!!
