The Black Boy Recently had a loving and traditional restoration. The Black Boy is the only surviving public house on Cartway with a history of over 400 years.

The Black Boy (aka The Blackie Boy)
has been sympathetically and lovingly restored, restoring and exposing the beautiful original features of this historic pub. It was first licensed in 1790 and when fully restord will be a true Ale House, with Real Ale, Real Pub Food and Real Fires we will have 5 ales a proper cider on hand pulls accompanied by good quality wines, larger and spirits.
