Happy New Year to you all.

As the saying goes - new year, new beginnings - and that holds true for The Swan Inn and myself this year.
This has not been an easy decision to make but after 4 years I feel the time is right to move on. We've had many ups and downs together during this time from an amazing refurb of the pub to Covid, some pretty special christmas, new year and birthday celebrations too. But we've also lost some special friends - especially this last year - but we'll all have our own memories of them here at the pub.

A massive Thank You to everyone who has supported me during my time at The Swan, I'm going to miss you all.
I will be having a farewell drink Saturday 6th January from 4pm**, if anyone would ,like to pop in and share any memories, it would be nice to see you all before I go.

Thank you once again for the last 4 years.

Tomorrow we say goodbye to an important and irreplaceable member of The Swan Inn family - Tanya Bissmire.
The details of Tanyas funeral are below. We will be celebrating Tanya here at the pub tomorrow afternoon and anyone who knew and loved Tanya is welcome to come and join her Swan family to exchange stories and anecdotes x

It is with a heavy heart that we are sharing this sad news with you all. Our dear friend and colleague Tanya Bissmire passed away yesterday after one hell of a battle against the dreaded C.
Tanya had worked here at The Swan for at least 12 years and I was lucky enough to have worked with her for the past 4 years.
We had plenty of laughs along the way and the memories of Tanya dancing on the bar and singing along to Tom, Elys and the bands we've had here will always make me smile and giggle. I'm sure everyone has their own memories of Tanya that will make you smile when you think of her.
She has left a massive hole here at the pub and she will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace now lovely ###

Sorry but due to staff sickness the pub will be closed today, Saturday 30th September, but will be back open tomorrow from 2pm. This unfortunately means there will be no lunch service tomorrow.
As a small business staff sickness hits us hard, so thank you for your understanding x

We are so sorry to disappoint our customers but our kitchen is still closed, so there will be no Sunday lunches this week. We hope to have the issue sorted by next week and will keep you updated.

The pub will be open as usual though.
