Christmas Carol Playing Update for 2025 🎄
This year, we’re planning to do things a little differently for a number of reasons:
Fewer people tend to open their doors on a cold winter’s evening.
More and more households display notices asking for no unsolicited callers — something we, of course, fully respect.
Fewer people now carry cash.
Understandably, many feel uncomfortable being asked for card donations on their doorstep.
Sadly, some of our collectors have experienced unpleasant behaviour while out carolling, and we’re also mindful that it’s often bedtime for little ones when we’re out and about.
But all is not lost! 🎺✨
We’ll still be spreading Christmas cheer — just in a slightly new way.
This year, we’ll be performing at several local venues throughout the festive period, and we’ll also be playing around Fordingbridge in fixed locations rather than door-to-door.
So please come along, enjoy the music, and don’t be shy about making a Christmas carol request (or two!). We’ll share our dates, times, and locations very soon. Our trusty collection pots and card machine will be available at each event for anyone who wishes to make a donation.
