Have you picked up ceramics that aren't yours?

Unfortunately, we've had a few bags of ceramics go missing from our collection point at St Peter's Centre.

These pieces were lovingly handmade by participants at our Drink Dine Design workshops, before being carefully glazed and fired, ready to be collected.

We placed the finished ceramics into individually labelled bags so that participants could collect their creations during the Centre's opening hours.

Sadly, some of these bags have disappeared.

Each piece is unique and represents someone's time, creativity and hard work. For some, these pieces may have been made as gifts or hold personal meaning, so it's incredibly disappointing that they haven't made it back to their rightful owners.

If you've picked up any ceramics, thinking they were free to a good home, we'd be really grateful if you could return them to St Peter's Centre as soon as possible.

We'd love nothing more than to reunite these handmade creations with the people who made them.

Thank you for your help. 🌿

I was delighted to be invited to talk about some of the wonderful things happening in Brandon on BBC Radio Suffolk’s Saturday Morning show this week, including the community work at St Peter’s Centre.

Chatting about St Peter's Centre reminded me of what an important building this is to so many people. And it reminded me of how fortunate I am to be able to welcome in so many of you... 🥰

Even got an extremely kind message from a listener:
Kev, really quite moved listening to your guest Jessie, what a old head on young shoulders! What a great thing to be in charge of, how many lives could she change for the better. Look out Andy Burnham 🤣!! The world would be a better place with more folk like her, please pass on my thanks to her, cheers! Simon
