What an amazing 3 days! Countless shanty songs! 100’s of people enjoying themselves, ale drunk by the gallons!

Thank you to everyone who came down to enjoy themselves, and thank you to everyone who donated and participated in the raffle!

Thank you to the team at the Jolly Sailors who absolutely shined this weekend, whether it was clearing countless tables or cooking 100’s of meals in the kitchen! It was a brilliant weekend had by us all.

There will be no shanty rehearsals tomorrow evening, that makes a better opportunity to come get your shanty fix today for the final day of Shanty festival! Nelson's Shantymen will be ending the day at 6pm! With other amazing bands performing during the day!

EXTRA PARKING: On Saturday and Sunday we have very kindly been allowed access to a field on Dalegate lane, we will be running a shuttle bus service to stop at each venue, this is to help keep the roads safe and clear. Please take advantage of this service. The field will be operated by a local scout group donating their time for the weekend
