So we’ll be saying our final goodbyes at the pub this Friday 18th September. After 2 and a half years we’ve decided to move on to pastures new, it’s been a great journey and also challenging at times but we’ve met some amazing people along the way and created memories that’ll last a long time.

We want to thank everyone who’s drank with us, eaten with us, danced with us, stayed up late with us and just been there for us over these years. We wish it didn’t have to come to an end but some things are just meant to be.

We’ll be having one final dance this Friday, with Live music and some food to say thank you. So come and join us if you can, we’ll be here from 3pm and we’ll kick the evenings entertainment off from 7pm. It would be lovely to see a few of you to say goodbye.

The Horse & Groom will live on and we truly wish the next occupants all the best in their ventures here. We know they’ll be looked after.

Come and join us at Newmarket Races and spend a summer Saturday at the beautiful July Course on Saturday 15th August, enjoying an afternoon of quality racing in a relaxed, picturesque setting.

Younger visitors can also enjoy face painting and a bouncy castle on the day, as under 18’s go FREE!

There will be plenty of action on the track for all to enjoy with 6 races in total across the afternoon, including the Grey Horse handicap which takes centre stage as a field of only grey horses come thundering down the track. One things for sure on this day – you’ll back a grey winner!

Soak up the August sunshine at the races, with friends, food and drink for a perfect afternoon.

He’s back! Optio Pizza joins us for a night of Pizzas, this Friday 17th July between 5-8pm.

The awesome Barney & The Rubbles will be back with us on Saturday 4th July. So if you fancy a great night out and listening to some of the best covers around then don’t miss it!

They’ll be playing from 8:30pm and will have you dancing for most of the evening. So get a crowd together, pop on over for some rocking and popping tunesssss!

Next up for England in this years World Cup is Ghana on Tuesday 23rd June at 9pm.

Once again we’ll be showing the whole game, featuring our drinks promotion and complimentary nibbles.

Let’s hope the winning run continues and your support would be very welcome.

Who’s ready for Englands first World Cup match! It’s this Wednesday 17th June at 9pm.

We’ll be running a World Cup drinks promotion throughout every England game, so the further they get the better it is for you👍🏼

Sign up now to receive your World Cup stamp card, just send us your email address either by DM or via [email protected] and you’ll receive your card straight to your inbox, which can be downloaded and used from Wednesday.

There will be complimentary nibbles for the games and hopefully a winning result at the end! So come along and enjoy the atmosphere in your local country pub.
