Braintree Rugby Club Grand Fireworks Display 5th November

Braintree Rugby Club Grand Fireworks Display 5th November Family friendly fireworks display with outside bar, barbecue and funfair (pay on the gate)

05/11/2025

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our display tonight. A special thanks to all the volunteers who helped to make the event so special - we just couldn’t do it without you. Also thanks to Fury Fireworks for the fabulous display, Meridian Roadshow for the music, PA Plus (Adam Roberts) for the light show, Patient Focused Ambulance Service Ltd for first aid cover, and Crown Hire for the toilets. And finally to the fairground for keeping everyone entertained.
Tomorrow the clean up starts. If anyone is at a loose end and can spare a couple of hours to help clear up, we will happily provide a bacon roll, a hot drink, and a mountain of gratitude.
See you next year?

PLEASE NOTE, THERE IS A NEW SITE PLAN BELOW!

Not long now until our fireworks display, and our helpers are busy setting up the area. To help you on the night, here is a map of our grounds. The area will be fenced off for the event, with three entry gates operating to get you in as quickly as possible. Cash and card will be taken in all areas, including the fairground.

Access details to car parks in FAQ's below. Please try to arrive early if you are coming by car (the bar will be open and our prices are NOT event prices, they are comparable with local pubs). Our gates open at 5.30.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE ROADS ARE KEPT CLEAR FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES, AND PLEASE RESPECT OUR NEIGHBOURS BY NOT BLOCKING THEIR DRIVEWAYS.

There will be a separate till operating at the bar for soft drinks only, and another at the BBQ for hot drinks only.
If you require disabled parking and a wheelchair viewing space please arrive early and if possible contact us in advance (you must bring a blue badge). Contact via messenger please.
Please support the club by buying your glow toys from us. They will be cheaper than those sold on the street, and every penny goes to our junior section.
The fairground is inside the display area, so you need buy entry tickets to the display to access the fairground. They are independant to us, and we do not know the price of rides (last year they were £3 and £4).
There are 4 Portaloos in front of the clubhouse (3 ladies, 1 gents). There are 2 further ladies toilets and gents toilets/urinals in the clubhouse, entry next to the outside bar.
If you are bringing small children who are likely to run off, you can collect a wrist band from our sweets and glow toys stall to write your telephone number on. Just attach it to your childs wrist and if the become lost we can quickly reunite you.
The clubhouse is members only, and entry will be restricted.
