Last Sunday Braintree High Street was full of music, laughter and happiness - an illustration of what a great place it can be.
We wanted to share a huge thank you to everyone that came to Number 92's 6th Birthday Bash.
We had a fantastic turnout, wonderful atmosphere, brilliant steinholding finals (congrats to Laura and Darren), 6 litres of shots consumed, Porscha J was superb, Bigg Nige amazing as our MC/DJ/finishing act and the souvlaki's were pretty tasty as well.
Fin, Brin, Josh and Joss all worked their socks off (as normal) and the weather held out.
Onwards and upwards one and all.

As part of our 6th Birthday celebrations we held the Gents Steinholding Final at Number 92 last weekend. We started the trials at the Festival In the Gardens back in May and Steve, Marc, Jon & Darren all entered the arena for the final.
With fantastic support from the gathered crowd, Darren took the title and collected prizes including a case of ABK Hell.
The brilliant news is that we've raised over £250 for our chosen charities.

Number 92’s Inaugural Steinholding Gents Final

As part of our 6th Birthday celebrations we held the Ladies Steinholding Final at Number 92 last weekend.
We've been holding trials since May, with Lianne, Viki and Laura all stepping up for the final.
With fantastic support from a lively crowd, Laura took the title and collected prizes including a case of ABK Hell.
The brilliant news is that we've raised over £250 for our chosen charities.

6th BIRTHDAY BASH UPDATE - BIGG NIGE PERFORMING

We're delighted to confirm that Bigg NIge will be doing a DJ set and performing a few of his own tracks to bring our birthday bash to a close this Sunday.

Bigg Nige is a regular at our Manor Studio Live Music Showcases and always brings the house down so is the perfect artist to finish the afternoon off.

Hopefully see you on Sunday - we're open 13.00 to 20.00.

It's not something that we like to bring up regularly, but we're reminiscing with the 6th Birthday coming up we thought it'd be worth a share.

Anyone remember when Number 92 was rumoured to be operating a S*x Dungeon on Monday & Tuesday nights?

One of the funny things is that 2 years later, during an alternative Valentines night, we did actually have a Cat-Of-Nine-Tails used in the basement as part of a poetry evening... anyway, hope to see you Sunday afternoon :-)

THIS WEEK'S £7.50 SPECIAL AT NUMBER 92 IS A BLOCKBUSTER OF A DRINK

And as it's such a lovely tipple we thought there was only one thing to call it ‘P’ PLEASE BOB

Here's the details - Mikey has created a belter of an infusion: a Plum & Peach Tequila, which when made into a margarita (by adding Cointreau, lime & agave) is a blockbuster of a drink. £7.50 a pop, only one bottle of the infusion is available - once its gone, its gone :-)

£7.50 WEEKLY DRINKS SPECIAL AT NUMBER 92

This week we've taken the classic Mai Tai as our inspiration and have created a Bow Tai. We've got a splendid local Spiced Rum, added a hint of an orange and strawberry and plenty of zing with some lime juice. So it's got the taste explosion that a proper Mai Tai has, as well as the punching power.
