MBI We are situated in central Brae, Shetland. We have a public bar, lounge restaurant & a beer garden -

For over 200 years the Mid Brae has been an Inn, it has been owned by Diane Davies and Andrea Manson since 1992. We have the cosy family orientated Lounge Bar which seats up to 54, we can seat more for functions. You will be met with a warm Shetland welcome from Diane and her staff. All our food is locally sourced using only the best of Shetland Seafood and ingredients. Our menu is hearty home coo

king at its very best, we cater for all dietary requirements, half portion meals, and a children's menu also available. The Mid Brae Inn stocks a wide range of wines, beers and spirits. Both bars also stock a range of alcohol free lager, cider and soft drinks.

Hi everyone, we are so sorry but the MBI is
unfortunately closed this weekend due to one of our fuse boxes tripping the mains power and setting off our fire alarms, It's a health and safety concern having lots of folk in the pub when the power is going off and on. We are hoping to have the issue resolved early next week but we will keep you all updated.
Thank you for being understanding and we are so sorry for the inconvenience caused.

DUHA 2026 was an absolute success🤩

We would like to thank the bands that played for us on Hop day and Gordon for putting on brilliant discos, our amazing helpers that got us through the weekend and everyone that made the week so fun!

We are all hoarse and partied out now after a very busy week!😅
