The Shoulder of Mutton Bradford We are a Samuel Smiths pub in Bradford City centre, serving bitters, lagers, stout, cider, wine, and a top shelf of spirits.

We also serve soft drinks and snacks. One of the largest beer gardens in Bradford, and a roaring fire in winter to sit by.

Don't forget Saturday guys it is Bradford vs Carlisle United Football Club at Valley Parade with KO at 3pm.

We are open from 11am, with food served from 12.30 till as close to kick off as you dare.

We will have a buffet of pork pies, sausage rolls, pizza, sandwiches when you purchase any drink.

We serve 3 lagers, extra stout, dark mild, cider reserve and handpull, along with a top shelf of spirits, orange juice, wine, chocolate stout, fruit beers along with coke and lemonade.

Why not join us for a pint or two (or 3!) before and after the game, and enjoy good conversation and a friendly atmosphere.

We are open 11-11 Monday to Saturday and 12-10.30 on a Sunday.

On Saturday, Bradford City play Carlisle United at home, ko at 3pm.

We invite all football supporters to visit our city centre pub, at 28 Kirkgate to enjoy a pre/post match pint and good conversation.

From 12.30 we also offer sandwiches, sausage rolls, pizza and pork pies, free with any purchased drink.

We have a large beer garden (hopefully re-opened), along with an open fire, and decent lagers, dark mild, cider, hand pull, 4x best bitter, along with a top shelf of spirits, fruit beers, chocolate stout, orange juice, coke and lemonade.

We may not have a full beer garden in use right now, but we do have a partial beer garden open.

Along with payday weekend, we are serving free food between 6-7pm tonight. Freshly made and served for you.

Good morning all.

On Tuesday 1st October we will be holding a bake sale to raise funds for Helping Hands - Bradford.

This will be held at The Shoulder of Mutton, 28 Kirkgate.

Times will be announced in due course.

All cakes/bakes will be available to buy on the day, and we will have buckets to raise money also.

Anyone is welcome :)

We have a lot of ideas for the run up to Christmas....

So, we are considering a Christmas tree outside, with christmas lights round the beer garden (provided the beer garden is open).

We are also considering a christmas raffle, as well as maybe a few stalls selling a few items in the garden.

Yes, it may be cold, but any sunny days we get, we may be able to have a chimenea outside too.

Any ideas welcome!

We are looking for ideas for a FAMILY FUN DAY! We do not know when this will be held yet, as currently, our beer garden is closed due to Health and Safety. We are hopefully looking to get this re-opened as soon as possible, and to hold the event as soon as we can.

Current ideas include sponge and stocks, egg and spoon race, guess how many sweets in the jar, hair braiding, tombola.

If anyone has anymore ideas, please let us know :)

Looks like the last Bank Holiday before Christmas is going to be nice and sunny, perfect opportunity to join us for a few drinks.

We do still have a beer garden (significantly smaller at present), but, still somewhere to enjoy outside.

We serve lager, bitter, hand pull bitter, stout, cider, dark mild, all at cheap prices.

We also serve a top shelf of spirits, fruit beers, chocolate stout, alcohol free and orange juice along with coke and lemonade, and tonic water.

We are a traditional city centre pub with a good, regular clientele, so why not come and join them and enjoy the last few throws of summer.

Children are welcome outside till 7pm also.

A reminder to customers:

We do not tolerate at all abusive language, swearing, or any form of abuse towards ourselves as landlords, or towards any member of staff.

You will be asked to leave, and this will result in a permanent bar from our pub.

99.9% of our customers behave exemplary, and are brilliant.

We love you all, but the minor few who are out to cause issues will not bring us, or our customer base down, or our staff.

Thank you to all the customers today, all the Bradford city fans. Fantastic result and long may it continue.

So, today is matchday again guys and gals vs Bromley.

All welcome before and after the game.

We will have Old Brewery Bitter back on sale, along with the usual Taddy lager, Alpine lager, and Pure Brew, 4X Best Bitter, cider, dark mild and stout. Also a range of top shelf spirits, orange juice and blackcurrant for the kids, alcohol free if your driving, and fruit beers also and not to forget, chocolate stout.

Our beer garden may be smaller and more intimate at the moment, but don't let that stop you coming and enjoying the pre match atmosphere... and don't forget, from 12.30 today (slightly later), we will also have snacks for free including sandwiches, mini sausage rolls, pizza slices.

So, we have created a temporary outdoor seating area (beer garden) whilst the main garden is closed for Health and Safety reasons.

We are still open 11-11 and 12-10.30 on a Sunday, and we are still open for all Bradford City supporters on Saturday.
