Good morning Everyone

Last day cleaning up ready to hand the kitchen back over 😔 I've had a few people ask about my marinades and sauces and was seeing what your thoughts are on jarring my own Tikka marinade? Would this be of interest to some of you? Or even my burger sauce and garlic mayo? Any other recommendations?? 😊

Good morning everyone.

Today is our last day of trading 😢. We were hoping to go until Saturday however the stock will not last that long. So we’d like you to join us for your last supper! 😔

We are out of stock of Flank Steaks and only a few Chicken Tikka left. We do still have other stock. Once it’s gone it’s gone. Will keep updating on here through today.

We hope to see as many of you today.

Good afternoon all.

Next week is our final week, below are our days and times we are open. If we are able to open the Friday and Saturday I will update on here, it will depend on the stock we have left if any at all.

Our menu items will be limited the more the week goes on due to not restocking.

Snaxtons will also be closed whilst the pub is closed from tomorrow (Sunday 14th January), we will be opening a few days after the pub re-opens so will be open from Monday 22nd January for our last week before we close our doors for good 😔. We hope to see many of you in our final week.

This isn't an easy post to write.

Snaxtons has been going for two years now at the Royal Oak pub and I have always said I'd give it two years and hopefully the business would grow and then possibly expand.
It's now evident that with the costs of operating and the constant price increase of food etc that things have got to a stage where it's too difficult to carry on.

So unfortunately, we have decided to close the doors to Snaxtons and to my dream which breaks my heart! I am devastated and disappointed that I couldn't take us to where I envisaged.

I am truly grateful to those who have been with us on this journey and to those who have eaten with us plus supported us along the way! We also thank you for all the lovely reviews! The feedback has kept us going! I'm going to miss it deeply. We have definitely made some lovely new friends along the way.

It's been a tough rollercoaster ride with a hell of a lot of effort put in as well as blood sweat and tears (literally) it's going to be an emotional farewell from us and we will be closing our doors for the last time on Saturday 27th of January.

Thanks to my sister Lindsay who I started the journey with at the start and Harley who we employed to take her place and who has been an absolute legend and so reliable! He has come such a long way in his time with us.
The biggest thank you goes to my fiancée Lisa who made it all happen behind the scenes with countless hours of paperwork as well as cooking cleaning and organising me! She really did make it all tick!

I'd also like to thank the Healy Group for taking a chance on us and thanks to all the staff at the Royal Oak for their help with orders etc.
Thank you for having us!!

I'm gutted to not be able to feed the crave any longer! 😢
