Dorset Council: Chris Miell has recently secured planning permission for a backland development on Manor Road, Dorchester. The proposal, which was designed by SPASE Design, will provide a single storey 3-bed detached dwelling set within a comfortably plot. 🏡 Amended plans approved in Branksome Park! 🏡

We’re thrilled to share that BCP Council has granted permission for amendments to this stunning contemporary home, set on a large, tree-lined plot in the Branksome Park and Chine Gardens Conservation Area designed by Marlow Architects

We secured the original consent for this scheme, and we were delighted to help our client refine it further. The changes slightly reduce the footprint and rework the internal layout, while keeping the bold, elegant design.

The case officer found the amendments would preserve the character of the conservation area, with no harm to neighbours. The Council’s Tree Officer supported the scheme and there were zero objections. A smooth result on a site with protected trees.

Work is already under way on site, and we can’t wait to see this one take shape.
