Ojo Rojo is not just another Mexican restaurant. Utilising both bar and café features, the concept culminates into an all hours venue, spread over two floors, that will act as both a hangout-bar as well as a modern eatery. Our menu aspires to change the perception of Mexican dishes and their presentation by developing food that incorporates fresh, locally sourced produce with an underlying health
y- eating ethos. Our inspiration is drawn from popular Central American and world cuisine, and delivered in the classic Mexican street-food style of antojitos (meaning simply, little cravings). It’s this style that encourages the sharing aspect of interactive dining. The unique partnership of wholesome antojitos and Mexican influenced libations will create an immersive, social experience that will invite a sense of ownership over the venue, and a lifestyle affiliation that people will feel a part of. Ojo Rojo (pronounced ‘Ock-o Rock-o’) simply means: Red Eye. This alludes to great spicy food, mornings after a good night out and is subtly suggestive towards the traditional Day Of The Dead Skulls; synonymous with the creative Mexican culture.
