WHAT A LOVELY WEEK AT DARCY’S 🖤

We had such a fun week last week!

🇯🇲 Jamaica Night on Thursday brought the food, music, flags and bunting — we had a brilliant evening!

🍺 Our new Cerne Abbas b**rs made their Darcy’s debut too… and we’re very pleased to say they went down rather well! 😋

🍽️ And then Sunday… FULL HOUSE for Sunday Lunch all day! Thank you so much to everyone who joined us. What a lovely atmosphere ❤️

So, what’s happening this week?
✨ Wednesday evening — Caroline’s September Shape Up workshop is here at Darcy’s. Tickets are still available on Eventbrite — check our Events tab for all the details.

🍴 Thursday & Friday — we’re open as usual, with Wayne’s new specials being revealed on Wednesday 👀

🥳 Saturday evening — we’re hosting a private 30th birthday celebration, so Darcy’s will be CLOSED to the public Saturday night.

And there’s lots of event admin happening behind the scenes today! 📋
🪩 ABBA Night is looking FULL
💃 Drag Bingo is very nearly full
🃏 And we still have LOADS of space for Card Bingo next Thursday, so come and join us!

We’ll have a proper check through all the bookings and give you a full events update tomorrow.

🍺 A GIANT HAS ARRIVED AT DARCY’S…

And he’s brought the b**r. 😂

We’re very excited to now be stocking ales from Cerne Abbas Brewery!

First to arrive is Leggless Jester – 4.7%, available in 500ml bottles. Brewed with British Jester hops, it’s fruity, well-rounded and deceptively easy to drink — and, of course, comes complete with the rather unmistakable Cerne Abbas Giant. 👀🍺

We’ll also be adding a lighter, lower-alcohol ale soon — and we might just have something rather special planned with the brewery for the future… 🤫

We love supporting Dorset producers, and we think this could be the start of something rather fun.

And good news if you haven’t booked Sunday Lunch yet — we’ve had a cancellation for a table of 6, so we now have some extra availability this Sunday! 🙌

The flags and bunting are going up in the morning, the reggae playlist is ready 🎶 and Wayne’s got some Jamaican-inspired dishes heading to the kitchen. Woop! 🇯🇲🙌

✨ THURSDAY NIGHT SPECIAL OFFER — 2 COURSES FOR £20 PER PERSON ✨

Choose from Jerk Chicken Skewers or Jamaican Vegetable Curry, followed by Grilled Pineapple with Spiced Rum Glaze & Vanilla Ice Cream or Mango Sorbet. 🍍🥭
