Hey lovely,
Our next Ecstatic Dance Bournemouth is coming on Saturday 17th October and this one already feels a little different.
We’re moving into that time of year when the evenings get darker, the air gets cooler and naturally we begin to turn a little more inward.
So for October, I want to create a dance around togetherness, joy, connection and celebrating the changing season.
And I’m curious about something.
How would you feel about beginning the evening together with a short cacao ceremony?
A warm ceremonial cacao drink, shared together in our opening circle before we move into the dance.
I love the idea of us arriving this way, slowing down, connecting with ourselves and each other, and then letting that energy move with us onto the dance floor.
But I want to hear from you.
Would you love cacao to be part of the evening?

And what are we creating for October?
This time Judy Lancaster aka DJ Jude’z, founder of SunFire Dance, will be behind the decks. Judy began her DJ journey with us at Ecstatic Dance Bournemouth, so it feels rather special to welcome her back.
She’ll be weaving an autumnal journey of World Music and some unexpected sounds inviting you to move as gently or as wildly as you wish.
And after the dance, Vivienne will guide us into a gong bath for our integration, a chance to lie down, receive the sound and let everything settle.
From connection,
to movement,
to stillness.
I’m already excited about this one.
