The Walnut Tree is a country pub and restaurant in Bourne End, close to many local attractions, including Cliveden, and just a short walk from the River Thames. Dating back to the 1800s, the building is full of charm and character, with a contemporary rustic style, comfy

oprietor Chris Grego brings twenty years of experience in the hotel & restaurant business and his passion for good quality food & friendly service to The Walnut Tree; an ideal choice for coffee, lunch, a special occasion dinner, a business meeting or just a quiet pint after one of the many local walks. Our menus range from ‘Pub Favourites’ and nibbles at the bar, to

Our new Spring / Summer menu with lighter options starts today alongside this week's Specials:

- Nasi Goreng : Malaysian Fragrant Fried Rice with Green Beans served with Chicken Satay & Drumstick as well as Papadoms
- Omelette Arnold Bennet (Smoked Haddock & Cheese) served with Fries and Salad
- Grilled Fillet Steak served with Chunky Chips and Salad

A note for your diary - Small Plates will be back next week (Thursday, 07/05 - Saturday, 09/05 : 6pm-9pm).

Time sure flies and we are now moving into April 2026 and it is Easter weekend!

We bring you some warming Specials:

- Malaysian Beef Rendang served with Coconut Rice and Roti Canai (Indian Flat bread)
- Shepherd's Pie served with Seasonal Vegetables
- 'Pho Ga' : A Vietnamese street food delight - Flat Rice Noodles with Braised Chicken slices & Herbs in a flavourful broth

Small Plates will now be offered fortnightly and is scheduled next week: (Thursday, 9th - Saturday, 11th April : 6pm - 9pm).
