Do you want to back your favourite venue, help your high street and support local jobs? Then sign the petition to lower the rate of VAT for hospitality to 10%.

Our pubs, restaurants, cafes, hotels, nightclubs and many more, are at the heart of our communities.

They bring people together and bring life to our cities, towns and villages, but they're under huge pressure from rising costs.

In the UK, you pay one of the highest VAT rates in Europe. 20% extra in VAT for your pint, meal out or stay away. In France, Spain and Italy, it's 10%. In Germany? 7%.

Our message to Government is simple. Let's stand together to say VAT at 10% is fair for hospitality.

We are looking for an energetic, charismatic, outgoing and reliable person to join our existing, fantastic team.

You will be responsible for greeting customers, serving food & drink, taking orders and general bar duties.

The ideal candidate will have experience with public-facing roles and have previous experience working in a bar or restaurant environment .
You must be over the legal age due to licensing laws to apply for this position.

Hours of work over the following shifts on a rota basis.
Mon & Tues - Off
Wed 4pm - Close
Thurs 4pm - Close
Friday 12 noon - Close
Saturday 12 noon - Close
Sunday 12 noon - 6pm

Hourly rate: to be discussed at interview stage and dependant on experience along with daily tips.

We are rurally located and bus links are not regular so a form of transport would be essential .
