Unfortunately, due to a lack of demand for our original Ladies’ Night Halloween Party, we’ve decided to open the night up to EVERYONE! 👻🕷️
So ladies AND gents, get your costumes ready because NIGHTMARE ON THE BOWLING GREEN is coming! 🎃💀

🕊️ IAN DOWDS — FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS 🕊️

It is with great sadness that we share the funeral arrangements and final journey for our much-loved Lifetime Member, Ian Dowds.

Ian’s final journey will take place on Wednesday 23rd September.

Ian will leave from his home and make his way to St Matthew’s Chapel for the service at 11:00am. Anyone wishing to pay their respects and walk alongside Ian on his final journey to the chapel is very welcome to do so. The time Ian will leave his home will be confirmed to anyone wishing to join the walk.

🕯️ 11:00am — Service at St Matthew’s Chapel
🕊️ 12:30pm — Service at Rosewell New Cemetery

Following the services, Ian’s family warmly invite all friends and family who knew Ian to join them for his wake at Rosewell Community Bowling Club from 1:00pm.

We hope everyone who knew and loved Ian can come together to remember him, share memories and celebrate a life that meant so much to so many. ❤️

Rest peacefully, Ian. You will be sadly missed and never forgotten. 🕊️

🖤 A VERY SAD LOSS – IAN DOWDS 🖤

It is with an extremely heavy heart that we share the very sad news of the passing of our much-loved Lifetime Member, Ian Dowds.

Ian sadly lost his short battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at Midlothian Community Hospital at 1pm today .

Ian was a much-loved part of our bowling club family, and his presence, friendship and memories will remain with us for many years to come. He will be deeply missed by everyone at Rosewell Community Bowling Club. ❤️

Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Ian’s family, friends and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him at this incredibly difficult time.

We will share details of Ian’s funeral arrangements with everyone as soon as we hear from the family.

Rest peacefully, Ian. 🖤🕊️
You will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
