For anyone who hasn’t seen the notices up in the taproom we will unfortunately be closed all day next Saturday, 17th May as essential electrical works take place on the trading estate leaving us without power.

We’ve got you covered with cold cans to take away though so pop in and see us this week in preparation for your Saturday barbie☀️🍻🍔🌭🍗🍺

We know some customers are already aware but we’ve had some feedback & a near miss accident in the tap room due to children running around unsupervised. We don’t want any little ones(or adults)getting hurt so it’s imperative that if you are bringing any children in with you that they are seated with you at your table and supervised at ALL times. We want to remain a venue that welcomes everyone but we are essentially an adult environment and don’t want anyone tripping over a child running around.

Before you start your celebrations 🥂🍾tonight, all the team would like to thank you for supporting us for another year & look forward to welcoming you back for the new one! We re-open after a well rested break at the usual time of 1pm on Thurs 2nd Jan. 🍻

🍻EARLY CLOSING🍻Due to a family celebration tonight, Neil will be closing a little earlier than usual so won’t be serving any later than 6:15pm. Please don’t give him any grief, our daughter’s only 21 once 🎂

On Sunday 26th May, Neil Walton is running the Manchester 10k along with the Greenhalgh’s crew, Julie Thew and Garry Thew in memory of their son Kristian Thew who very sadly passed away in April 2023 with all sponsorship proceeds going to the amazing Bury Hospice. AND just because he’s a little bit twisted, BEFORE the 10k (yes on the same day😱)he’s also running the Manchester half marathon!!!! Alex Durkin has got him training and will be running alongside him also in aid of Bury Hospice. We now need your help to raise as much money as we can, surely completing these 2 back to back runs is worth a few quid?🤞🏻Neil’s good old fashioned paper sponsor form will be on the bar from tomorrow so please expect me to mither you between now and then to pop your name down. 😁

Well you lot, give yourselves a pat on the back!!🙌🏻We collected a fantastic £1187.30 in the buckets 💙💙💙add that to the current Just Giving page total of £1100 and that’s £2287.30 going to Bury Hospice. Once again, thank you, you’re all bloody amazing 🥰xx
