The building is taking shape. Now we’re thinking about what’s going to happen inside it. ❤️

The redevelopment of the Alexandra Arts Centre is being made possible through significant public investment, creating a new building and facilities for our community.

But a building is only the beginning.

Our job as a charity is to fill it with life - with performances, creativity, opportunities and memories for people of all ages.

That’s why we’ve launched Sponsor a Seat.

Choose a seat in our new auditorium and have your name displayed on it for:

Here's the latest project update for the build. Things are really taking shape!

As summer draws to a close, construction teams at the Alexandra Arts Centre have been making the most of the longer days - delivering a busy and productive period of activity across virtually every part of the building.

Despite the heat, progress has been anything but slow, with work advancing simultaneously on the exterior, the main auditorium, backstage areas, studios, and building services, marking a significant step forward as the project moves into its autumn phase.

🎉 Celebrating 5 years of the 2 O’Clock Club! 🎉

Five years ago, we started a little afternoon gathering with a simple idea: bring people together, enjoy great entertainment, and create a place where everyone feels welcome.

Since then, the 2 O’Clock Club has become a much-loved part of our community — filled with music, laughter, friendship and plenty of happy memories. 💕

From live performances and singalongs to coffee, cake and conversations with friends old and new, it’s been wonderful to see so many people join us month after month.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the 2 O’Clock Club over the last five years — our fantastic performers, volunteers, partners and, most importantly, our wonderful audiences.

Here’s to five years of afternoons well spent… and many more to come! 🥂

We're delighted to announce the appointment of Ollie Jeffery as the new Chair of Arun Arts.

Born and raised in Bognor Regis, Ollie brings more than 20 years of experience in events, production and venue management, alongside a real passion for creating opportunities through arts and culture.

As we continue working towards the reopening of the Alexandra Arts Centre in Spring 2027, Ollie's appointment marks another exciting step forward for the project.

We'd also like to extend our sincere thanks to Kate Bennett for her leadership and commitment over recent years, helping guide Arun Arts through a pivotal stage of its journey.
