Ladies' Exchange Day with Worthing Golf Club ⛳💚

A lovely day of golf, friendship and shared club spirit as our Bognor Regis Golf Club Ladies enjoyed their exchange day with Worthing Golf Club on Tuesday.

Our ladies swapped courses for the day and took on the beautiful but rather hillier Worthing layout, with its challenging greens and wonderful views. It was a great opportunity to enjoy a different course, meet up with fellow lady golfers, and celebrate the friendly relationship between our two Sussex Golf clubs.

A big thank you to Worthing Golf Club for their warm hospitality, and we hope the Worthing ladies enjoyed their visit to Bognor Regis just as much.

Special thanks also go to Nicki Vincent and Edwina Beresford for organising the day so well.

💥⛳️ What a fantastic day for our Men’s Invitation 2026 at Bognor Regis Golf Club on Saturday 23rd May.

With the sun shining and temperatures reaching 25°C, it was a perfect day for great golf, good company, and a lovely meal in the clubhouse afterwards.

The course looked superb, the atmosphere was brilliant, and it was wonderful to see so many members and guests enjoying the day.

A big thank you to everyone who played, supported, and helped make the event run so smoothly.

On 27 June, we’ll be playing 72 holes in one day, covering around 25 miles and over 350 swings to raise money for Parkinson’s UK and Sage House in Tangmere. A Message from 𝗞𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻, 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻

Thank you to everyone who turned out for my 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻’𝘀 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲-𝗜𝗻 and helped make it such a special day for me, Nicola and my family.

We were truly overwhelmed by the support, good wishes and the wonderful turnout. I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful sunshine as much as we did.

I think no one was more surprised than me to see that first shot go so well! Congratulations to Alan Fitzgerald, who correctly guessed the distance at 242 yards, surely a world record. Alan wins £62 on his swipe card, with a further £62 going to the Captain’s Charity, Parkinson’s UK.

A big thank you to everyone behind the scenes at the Club who worked so hard to make the day run smoothly. My thanks also go to Vice Captain Matthew and his wife Jill for entertaining everyone before the Drive-In, and to Olly Longlands at SINK Golf for handcrafting the prizes.

We have an exciting golf and social calendar ahead, with plenty of opportunities to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK. I look forward to working alongside Caroline and Peter, our other captains, throughout the year.
