Qbarbados is looking for a new member of their pub family ❤️
Hoping for someone to do part time hours with us. To begin with, they will have to work mainly weekends with other staff, but depending on how you get on your hours will progress and will get more set shifts which will be a mixture of week and weekends.
We need someone who is reliable and willing to work, they need to be able to work as part of a team or on their own, and someone with a good sense of humour/banter is a must 😀
Preferably someone with experience but if not we can show you the ropes. This is an on the books job - we do not do cash in hand.

Apologies if the Q-Bar comps have been put on hold for a few weeks. This Friday was St.Austell Presentation Night whilst for the past weeks we have been putting a new ceiling and made several changes to the new pool room. Hopefully this will overcome any damp problems from it being an old building.
I am very happy with the work around tables 1-4. If all goes well we shall do the walls around the same area in February hopefully. We shall extend that all the way to the toilets along the steps and alley areas. Also renew with new seating. There is also some work to do with a new threshold by the fire door.
Old buildings take a lot of thought and money to correct areas. Last year we improved the toilets, I would have made one more correction to those had I known what I do now.
Please bear with us in our attempts to improve the conditions for everyone, especially the keen pool players.
