Double BoG birdie! 🐦🐦
Congratulations to Jordan Shaw, scratch winner with a superb 65, and Nat Baldwin, Willie Thomson Open trophy winner with a nett 62 at Kingussie Golf Club.

From the Cairngorms to fairways winding through birch and heathland, the landscape is part of every round at The Boat.

Seen from above, the course reveals how naturally it follows the rise and fall of the ground.

Redesigned by James Braid and opened in 1932, it continues to evolve while retaining the character that makes it so unique.

Before most of us arrive, the work is already under way.

Whatever the Highland weather, our greenkeeping team cares for the playing surfaces, trees, heather and countless small details that allow the course to play as it should.

On Thank a Greenkeeper Day, we want to offer a simple and sincere thank you to everyone who keeps The Boat in such good condition, not just today but throughout the year.

If you see the team out on the course, give them a wave or stop to say thanks.

The Halfway House had a fresh coat of blue this season. A familiar feature - our team of volunteer members do a great job operating this facility for our opens & larger competitions.
