Hey all, today has been a very emotional day, we have decided to close the bar permanently. There's an uncertainty as to how long bars are to stay closed & so it just wasn't financially viable for us to keep paying rent.
I'd like to thank ALL the bands & musicians who've ever played at Tighe's, you guys simply rock 🤙
I'd like to thank Dave Cowan & Pete Shaw for originally starting the buskers & introducing live music to Tighe's. To Brian Keegan & Danny Coxon for keeping buskers going & the Sunday Sessions 😁To Mal Alexander for not only doing a cracking job each week on sound but for all the coffee & chocolate 🤣 (my ar$e now has its own postcode). To Phil Mitchell for support & help with bands 😜 To my mint, crazy ass husband who quite honestly I don't know how he puts up with my sh*t 🤣
And last but most certainly not least to ALL the Tighe's regulars who've become more like family, I love you ALL so much & miss y'all already ♥️
This isn't goodbye, well it is for Bebside but watch this space for a new venue when the world is back to normal & we're not all terrified to hug. Here's some reminders of the good times 🤙

Quiz night tonight, don't worry there won't really be any dinosaurs, well apart from me 🤣 however there's no hotdergs due to the greedy b #£% #%ds buying them all at Asda. Plenty bog roll though, but don't pinch it, we have it alarmed 🤣😂

We have a slight change for this Saturday, Sadly Head of Light Entertainment won't be playing for us due to the current sh*t storm of a situation the world is in regarding COVID19 & so they're cancelling future gigs along with tons of other artists. Thankfully though we have these two hard as nails dudes who are gonna rock up in hazmat suits & play & wow they can both sing & play. They're not really gonna play in hazmat suits, they're actually just not gonna breathe for the entire night 🤣
For those of ya who love a good night at Tighe's, head down early & come support not only these two amazing musicians but support your local pub before the country is on lockdown 😜

Massive thanks to The Nick Gladdish Band & YUMA for playing for us last night, true talent!!! Thanks to Mal on sound & to all who weren't scared to come out & kick the ass of Covid19 & the associated press bu****it. Even the electrics wimped out at one point 🤣
