We are a traditional British Pub, Carvery and Restaurant that brings you everything that you would expect from a quality local including cold beer, cask ales, fair trade coffee and a large selection of wines to suit everybodies taste. We offer a selection of perfectly cooked joints every day which are served with large selection of freshly steamed and roasted vegetables, yorkshire puddings, chippo
latas, and a choice of gravies and sauces. All of our Carvery meats come from British farmers and are sourced locally when possible. Our vegetables are from British growers and served fresh daily. We offer a big plate carvery available 6 days a week. Starters. We have ten delicious starters to choose from including classics like warm breaded west country brie and chicken liver pâté to winter warmers such as mussels in a white wine cream sauce and black pudding topped with a fried egg to Traditional British dishes like potted ham ( dates back to the 1600's ) and prawn cocktail Marie rose. The chef also has special starters and a home made soup of the day. Mains. You are spoilt with choice with lots of home cooked favourites and juicy grills which are cooked on our chargrill for extra flavour. We have a great mix of succulent meats, tasty vegetarian dishes and a large selection of fish and game options. We have curries from around the world and Our chicken is seasoned and cooked in our very own rotissori, and if you are looking for a lighter option our salads are just the ticket. Desserts. Remember to save room for one of our scrummy puds. We have favourites like home made bread pudding, treacle tart and chocolate brownie which are all served with either cream, custard or ice cream and a cheeseboard of British cheese's, a massive celebration sundae to share ( warning this dish may be addictive ) and other unmissable desserts. We also offer a large range of bar snacks including sandwiches, jacket potatoes to name a few.
