🍻 BLACK BULL CUSTOMER NOTICE – BLAYDON RACE 2026 🏃‍♂️

On Tuesday 9 June 2026, the annual Blaydon Race will bring thousands of runners and spectators to the area.

Please be aware that road closures will affect access around Blaydon, including:

🚧 Blaydon Highway (A694/A695): 6:25pm – 9:30pm 🚧 Tyne Street: 12:00am – 9:30pm 🚧 Chainbridge Road: 5:30pm – 10:00pm 🚧 Blaydon Shopping Precinct Service Road: 6:25pm – 9:30pm

If you're planning to visit The Black Bull on race day, we'd recommend arriving early and allowing extra time for your journey.

We'll be open as usual and look forward to welcoming runners, supporters and customers throughout the day. Why not pop in for a pint and soak up the fantastic atmosphere of this much-loved local tradition?
