YOU ASKED, WE LISTENED! 12th NOV

After the reel about the stage extension we were inundated with requests and questions about hosting an open mic night to let all you budding artistes have a turn on it.

We are excited to announce that we are going to hold our first ever open mic night on the second Thursday of November - the 12th.

If you want to book a slot then comment this post with your name and act. Music limited to Alt, so rock, metal, punk, pop-punk etc. (Sorry any Taylor Swift or ABBA aspirants, other bars and stages await).

Slots are limited so get in fast. Anyone missing out on a slot will be kept on a pending list for the next night(s) if the debut is a success.

(Apologies for the @ Followers tag. We don’t want to spam our followers unnecessarily and will only be using it for bigger announcements not general gigs or listings).

Local pop-punk covers legends Dayz Gone By return to Underground Alt this Saturday, 24th October.

Free entry all night so prepare to sing along at the top of your voice and jump around the dance floor to all your favourite tunes.

Which of the bands they cover are you most looking forward to? Green Day? Limp Bizkit? Or maybe more MCR after our anniversary event the night before?

20 Bloody Years! Where did the time go?

That’s right, it’s been 20 years since the release of My Chemical Romances’ iconic album The Black Parade and we are celebrating in style at Underground Alt.

This Friday DJ Dexterity returns as our DJ and will be playing the album in full as well as other MCR hits and many more, including requests from you!

What’s your favourite track from the album and your favourite MCR tune overall, are they the same? Comment below.

Free entry as always and fab drink deals all night.

Friday 23rd October we welcome back DJ Dexterity for the anniversary of the release of MCRs iconic Black Parade album.

Saturday 24th October local pop-punk favourites Dayz Gone By return to our newly improved stage for a night of bangerz you’ll
lose your voice to.
