#119 (The last one - Last Resort)

2 pints of Guinness - £7

The aptly named Last Resort was always in line to be our final pub!

It looked like they were getting setup for a new year's party when we were in and we enjoyed our visit and pint, the building itself is really nice with high ceilings and an old school feel to it. Bar staff were friendly and patient even when we weren't sure what to have as our final pint for the crawl 😂

£3.50 for a pint of Guinness is also very good value!

Overall Rating - 7.3/10

We did intend to do The Gallant Pioneer today as well, but sadly got our opening times mixed up and can't visit today, we may throw a visit into there next year when passing.

There also may be some people feel we've missed, but we've tried to exclude anywhere that is primarily a hotel or an eatery otherwise this would've taken us a lot longer than a year 😂

#113 - #118!!

We spent a bit of time between Christmas and new year catching up on a few we hadn't done yet! Sadly not sure on the prices of all of them but visited some great places! We also had halves in some as were expecting more places but sadly some were closed/don't exist 🤷‍♂️😂

#113 The Bridge

Good selection of beers to choose from and the interior is really modern and almost looks brand new.

Good darts set up with a number of TV's to watch live sport.

We also didn't realize this was a sister pub to Garlands.

Overall Rating - 7.5/10

#114 Champs Sports Bar

Another great place to watch live sports and loads of TV's showing multiple sports at the same time.

Some really cool sports memorabilia located around the venue.

Overall Rating - 7.5/10

#115 Mount Pleasant Pub

This place must be one of the smallest pubs we've visited!

Very good value for money and the landlady was really friendly and a great host. However, not the best selection of beers we've seen on the crawl.

Overall Rating - 6.7/10

#116 Peek-a-Booze

Good value for money and a lively atmosphere. Most people seemed to be eating food and it felt more like a hotel restaurant that was guessing turns into the live entertainment space at night.

Overall Rating - 6.9/10

#117 Cuban Bar

Very nicely done out of this place and a good selection of lager - theming is spot on. We visited fairly early in the afternoon so it was pretty quiet - but still a great spot and definitely one worth giving a chance if you've never been!

Overall Rating - 7.6/10

#118 Garlands

The exterior of this place fits the theming perfectly. Certainly one of the brightest on the crawl. Good selection of beers and always some live entertainment, whether a DJ or Karaoke. We visited pretty early in the afternoon and it was still very busy with a full dancefloor.

Overall Rating - 7.4/10

#112 The Corner House

2 pints of Guinness - £8.20

Visited here on a Monday lunchtime but still a few people in!

Pool table and dart board which for us should always be in a pub like this! Definitely has that classic british old school pub feel to it. Bit too far from us to ever be regulars but seems like it's the only pub in the immediate area so if you live round there it's certainly a good option for a beer 🍺

#111 The Armfield Club

2 pints of Staropramen - £9.60

The Armfield is a go-to spot for BFC games and never fails to deliver!

It definitely delivers a great atmosphere and good selection of beers!

The bar is decked out with BFC merch and theming, making it the perfect place for supporters to have a few before seeing the game 🍺

Watching England vs. Germany here remains a standout memory. It’s no surprise this place has such a loyal following—absolutely 100% recommended for World Cup or Euros matches!

We went here just before seeing Blackpool 0-0 Stevenage so it's a shame the football didn't match up 😂

#110 The Albert Blackpool

Pint of Madri and Carling - £7.75 (10% off for match-day)

The New Albert is a well-loved spot we've visited a few times, and it never disappoints.

With a solid selection of beers and a fantastic match-day offer of 10% off for Blackpool ticket holders, it’s a great draw for fans. The atmosphere is always buzzing, making it an ideal venue to catch live sports or have a few before going to the game.

#109 The GOAT

2 pints of Moretti - £9.80

This brand-new bar added yet another bar to our list! 😂

It definitely has that fresh, new vibe and loads of potential.

We had a great time playing darts and enjoying a beer. The super friendly staff were a real highlight—always a big plus!

Good selection of beers and lots of TVs to watch live sports, we got to enjoy the darts world championships.

Looking forward to seeing how this place develops.

#108 Plum Tree Farm

Pint of Guinness and Moretti (sadly, no Guinness glass) - £11

In hindsight probably more of a restaurant than pub/bar but we went here so here we go 🤷‍♂️😂

The location seems designed more for convenience, catering to business travelers needing motorway access or people staying in the Premier Inn next door (we guessed anyway). It’s in a bit of an awkward spot otherwise and not really somewhere you'd just walk past.

When we visited, it was packed with Christmas work parties, so it was very lively. Decent selection of beer, but overall this definitely feels more of an eatery so it's difficult to judge it as a pub, they also sell an extremely popular carvery!

#107 CASK Micropub - Layton

Three Fields IPA and Crazy Fox - £9.30

Cask Layton lived up to its reputation!

This was our first visit, and it absolutely delivered—fantastic venue with a great selection of beers. While it's a bit far for us to be regulars, it's well worth the trip.

Another place that did ABV which is a lager we've enjoyed from Shickers on this crawl. But the array of options means we opted for something new.

The bartender was exceptionally friendly and even seemed to be keeping track of the crawl and we were chatting to him about it, which added a personal touch. Highly recommend this place!

#106 The Queens

2 pints of Cruzcampo - £6.90

The Queens is a great spot! The staff are incredibly friendly and it was a welcoming atmosphere. The pub itself is done out well and there was a good vibe. The pint was great, and the price very reasonable.

A nice games area in what looked like a separate part of the venue to where we were sat, it was busy in that part of the pub when we visited.

You really can’t go far wrong here.

#105 The Victory

Really large pub and very nice building from the outside.

It was fairly quiet on our visit here but nice layout inside and they've got a great darts set up, arguably one of the best we've seen and very reasonably priced!

Would definitely return for a few pints 🍺

#104 New Road Inn

2 pints of Stella - £7.60

Visited here on a night there was a darts league match on. Great setup for darts, even a TV screen on that zooms in on the board so everyone can see what you've hit - something we've not seen before! And the same above a pool table at the other end of the pub!

Probably more than any other pub we've visited on this crawl, this felt like a real locals venue.

Decent pint and cheap prices means all in all not a bad boozer 🍻

#103 Lifeboat Inn

Neck Oil and John Smiths - £8.60

Real old school pub with an absolutely brilliant atmosphere! And a nice selection of pints to go with.

Karaoke was in full swing and the mood was very good on our visit here. Not the biggest venue but another place for our list where you'll never have a dull night and we had no choice but to rate highly just for the atmosphere!
