❤️ A LITTLE SUPPORT FROM OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE 🍻

We know times are tough for customers at the moment, and we want to do what we can to help.

Our brewery partners are supporting us with lower pricing, but for these prices to continue long-term, we need to show that they’re helping bring more people through the doors and supporting our local pub.

So, we’re making some changes — and we’re asking for a little support from you, our amazing local community.

📅 TEMPORARY CLOSURE
We’ll be closing for a few days from Monday 21st September and reopening on:

🍻 Friday 25th September at 2pm

From Friday 25th September through to Sunday 29th November

🕛 12pm–6pm, offer 7 days a week

We’re introducing a price drop on four products, with selected pints starting from just £2.95.

That’s 12pm–6pm, seven days a week — giving everyone the chance to enjoy a great-value drink in their local.

We’ll also be introducing:

🎤 Saturday evening entertainment
As well as are Sunday afternoon Sessions
So there’ll be even more reason to come along, enjoy a drink, enjoy the entertainment and spend some time together.

These lower prices are being put in place from Friday 25th September until Sunday 29th November, but they can only continue if people use the offers and support the pub.

We really hope you’ll get behind us — especially at weekends.

❤️ TEAM CLIFTON — THIS ONE IS SPECIAL! ❤️

While scrolling through social media, I was drawn to a post featuring one of the artists we work with, who had joined in with a young man busking in Blackpool.

I was absolutely blown away by the incredible voice of this young man, Carter. 🎤👏

I contacted Carter’s mum and asked if there was any chance we could invite him to come and sing for our Clifton community. That’s when his mum told me something that made this story even more special.

Carter doesn’t just sing because he loves music — he performs to raise money for charity, helping to raise funds and awareness for COPD, lung disease and asthma. ❤️

His mum told me that Carter would absolutely love to come and perform for us at the Clifton, so we are delighted to announce that Carter will be joining us on Sunday 25th October at 4:30pm! 🎶🎤

And because this young man is travelling from Yorkshire, we wanted to do something special to help make it happen.

One of our amazing Clifton community members, Mick Collins, who owns Airport Transport Mini Buses, has very kindly offered to collect Carter and up to eight people from Yorkshire and bring them to us — and then take them home again — completely on us! ❤️👏

But then came another incredible moment...

When I spoke to everyone at the Clifton on Sunday and explained what Carter does and why he performs, within minutes our amazing community had donated £150 to kick-start the fundraiser.

Honestly, what an incredible community you are. ❤️

And what an inspirational young man Carter is — using his talent to help raise money for others.

So, GET YOUR DIARIES OUT! 📅
