Now serving the newest addition to the Cuckoo Gin range — Rhubarb Gin 🍸🌿 Cuckoo Spirits

It was great to be invited down to the distillery recently to learn more about this exciting new release and, of course, sample it in a cocktail too!

We’re pleased to report it was absolutely delicious — packed with flavour and a fantastic addition to an already outstanding range of gins.

The second beer From The Wood is here! 🍻🥃

Following on from Old Bee, we’ve now got Black Bull Bitter pouring straight from the whisky barrel.

Our classic 4% bitter has taken on some wonderful character from its time in the wood, with subtle oak notes and a smooth whisky warmth complementing the beer beautifully.

A traditional Lancashire bitter with a unique twist, available for a limited time and only at The Black Bull.

The first beer “From The Wood” is one of our stronger dark ales — Old Bee 5.5% 🍺🥃

Brewed with generous amounts of chocolate malt and a touch of treacle, this beer has spent just over a month ageing away in our whisky barrels… and WOW.

The aroma hits you first with beautiful smoky oak and warming whisky notes. Then comes the flavour — rich whisky character followed by smooth dark chocolate and lingering hints of thick treacle sweetness.

This is a proper sipping beer and something truly special 👌
