Today we will be conducting some very important research at The Humble Plumb 🍺☀️ It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it. Armed with a pint and the rare appearance of British sunshine, we’ll be taking full advantage before the weather remembers where we live.
The mission is simple: find the perfect spot in the sun, secure a cold pint, and pretend we’re on holiday while watching the world go by. There’s also a strong possibility of soaking up enough vitamin D to survive until next spring.
Science has proven (probably) that a pint tastes at least 37% better when enjoyed outdoors in the sunshine, and an extra 15% better when someone says, “I’ll get this round.” We’ll also be doing our bit to support the local economy — one pint at a time.
British summer rules apply: sunglasses on, coat nearby just in case, and absolute confidence that “it definitely won’t rain.”
