Weβre really looking forward to welcoming everyone to the club on Friday, for what should be a lovely festive event. π
π5pm π The Mayor will be turning the tree lights on at 5pm, followed by a few words from Renee Friend from Isabel Hospice
π5.15pm π Mo Clarke will place the first star on our tree in memory of her late husband, Squin who was a much loved member at our club. π€
π5.30pm π There will be carol singing led by members of Herts & Souls choir. πΆπ€π We will also be encouraging everyone to join in and sing along! The more the merrier! We will have song sheets! πΆπ€
Stars will be available to buy for Β£5 each in the clubhouse from Friday 6th to Tuesday 24th December. Just buy a star, write the name or a message for your loved one on it and hang it on the tree. βοΈβοΈππ€ All money raised will go to Isabel hospice.
Weβll also be supported by Renee Friend and some of her volunteers from Isabel Hospice during the evening so if youβd like to make a separate donation you can.
Once the Carol singing has ended, weβll have mulled wine and mince pies inside our warm and cosy clubhouse! π₯π·π₯§
Thank you to GRS and Hallingbury Christmas Trees for sponsoring / donating our tree, itβs very much appreciated. π
And last but by no means least we will have serving his amazing food from the kitchen inside the clubhouse! ππ₯π
We look forward to seeing you there! π₯°
