Today is the day, game 2 of England’s World Cup campaign. England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 face Ghana 🇬🇭 at 9pm. So join us in our bar area and treat yourself to some dinner before.

There will be a free reversible Rivertown bucket hat for anyone who joins us for the World Cup games today and orders a Rivertown SIPA! 🎩

We do ask for a few things just to make it a great experience for everyone.
☀️ please make sure you are staying hydrated with water and have sun cream on. Should you forget suncream, please ask, we do have bottles on site.
☀️ please be kind and patient with our hard working team. There may be slight delays on food as we will be ensuring our hard working kitchen team are getting regular breaks, because if it’s hot outside, it’s even hotter inside that kitchen.
☀️ the team are working incredibly hard to ensure you have a great time with us, and we are all trying our best, so please be understanding of things are a bit slower than normal.
☀️ we will not tolerate any verbal abuse of our team, if this happens, please know you will be barred

Father’s Day is this Sunday! 🍻

If you haven’t managed to book a table inside we will be serving food in the garden and the sun is promising to shine!

Just as a note though, we may have to put a wait on food, but we will let you know when ordering. We will also be unable to serve any tables bigger than an 8 in the garden, as we’re already at capacity for big tables.
We don’t reserve tables in the garden, they are first come first served! We can’t wait to see you all!

Don’t panic, but today is the day we have all been waiting for, Englands World Cup starts here.
We will be showing England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 vs Croatia 🇭🇷 in our bar area at 9pm. We’re the perfect place to come and enjoy a delicious burgers, hot dog or nachos before kick off!

Portugal 🇵🇹 vs DR Congo 🇨🇩 will also be showing at 6pm. And our Victor is excited! Vamos la Portugal!

Weds 17th - England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 play their first game against Croatia 🇭🇷 at 9pm.
Saturday 20th - Retro Bingo with Peter Perke
Sunday 21st - Father’s Day, have you booked in???
Monday 22nd - F•R•I•E•N•D•S QUIZ at 8pm. We do recommend booking as this does get really busy. And we will have our charity raffle at half time raising money for Grove Cottage and Red Kite.

And the World Cup continues, no surprises so far, what will today bring?!
We have Spain 🇪🇸 vs Cape Verde 🇨🇻 at 5pm, this will be showing in our garden room 🪴 and bar area.

We will not be able to show the Belgium 🇧🇪 vs Egypt 🇪🇬 game as our quiz is very busy this evening so we need to use both rooms. But make sure you join us for our quiz this week, it kicks off at 8pm and our World Cup menu will be available to order from, who doesn’t love a nachos whilst quizzing?!

Somebody enjoyed Scotlands win last night! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We will be serving delicious home cooked roasts and the pièce de résistance is the Germany 🇩🇪 vs Curacao 🇨🇼 at 6pm!
And our World Cup menu will be on from 5pm. ⚽️

Mexico 🇲🇽 vs South Africa 🇿🇦 kicks off today at 8pm.
