Lovely, luscious and loaded with flavour – our new wines have landed just in time for your Friday treat!

• Les Valéry Chablis 2025, Bone-dry, bright, vibrant acidity with hints of citrus & green fruit, subtle saline finish. Best paired with seafood, oysters, white fish, or as a crisp aperitif. 🍋‍🟩🍏

•Baron de Badassière Viognier. On the palate you’ll find this wine is smooth, rounded, medium body with hints of juicy stone fruit, soft floral notes, balanced acidity with a clean finish. 🌸

•Ricossa Gavi. Light, crisp, bone-dry, zingy freshness – clean citrus & green fruit, delicate almond finish and best paired with fish and salads. 🍋

• Bleu d’Albo Albariño. Zesty, refreshing, dry – bright citrus & tropical fruit, crisp acidity, distinctive salty finish. You can smell the grapefruit, lemon, ripe melon, white peach notes in this beautiful wine. 🍋🍑

Say hello to Amy! 👋 Originally from beautiful British Columbia, she’s been part of The Physician team since September 2024. 🇨🇦
Our customers are always fascinated by her lovely accent!

Away from the bar, she’s often lost in music – piano is her passion 🎹 or you’ll find her curled up turning pages of a good book 📚 And when it’s time to unwind? Nothing beats a proper cask ale… Amy’s favourite is our plum porter! 🍻

Dan has been with us at The Physician for 4 months however he has 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He’s got big plans brewing, a whole fresh new menu spin coming your way, packed with all kinds of deliciousness… so keep your eyes peeled, watch this space! 👀

Join us in celebrating this August bank holiday in style!

We'll be serving fresh and foamy pints from our outdoor Estrella bar whilst our chefs work their magic on the BBQ - Burgers, hot dogs and halloumi specials inbound!

We have a feast of exceptionally talented musicians booked to help us while the day away on the patio

🎸 Amalia Estradas - 12:30 - 15:00
Amalia and her guitar will be returning to us for her second Physician appearance - she is an up and coming star in the Birmingham music scene with a beautifully powerful and soulful voice - absolutely not to be missed

🎸 Ryan Sloan - 15:30 - 18:00
It wouldn't be a summer party at The Physician without Ryan - If you've not caught him before, Ryan is an absolute powerhouse of stunning vocals and beautiful guitar playing - guaranteed to give you goosebumps

🥁Back On The Road - 19:00 - 22:00
Back On The Road are a fantastic full covers band hailing from Birmingham who will be making their Physician debut! With vocals, guitars, keys and drums - these guys absolutely know how to get a party started. They'll be performing Classic Rock, Pop & Blues covers with a promise to get you up and dancing.

The BBQ will be fired up from 12-9pm serving up delicious treats in the garden
Our outdoor space is operated on a first come/first served basis so we recommend getting here nice and early to nab the best seats in the house for the music - but don't worry - we have plenty of space for all the family

As ever our live music is free to enjoy with no tickets required - just grab the gang and come on down! 🎟️
