The Duck and Scholar

The Duck and Scholar UoB's exclusive student bar on The Vale. Tables are getting booked up fast, so please book in advance by messaging us here. For this term though, we've moved!

The Duck is the Vale's main bar, right here on your doorstep. It's a two story venue overlooking the Vale, which serves as our gigantic and picturesque beer garden. We are now located in the large marquee next to Infusion, the Duck is On Tour! To book message us with

Please bear in mind we have

a lot of people book in advance, in particular the later time slot, and Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. To secure the in demand dates you may need to think several weeks ahead.

ATTENTION:

To all that have sent private messages over the past few months, unfortunately this page has been turned off and will no longer be used so any messages you have sent over the past few months or want to send will not be seen, sorry for any inconvenience.

The bar will reopen on Saturday 18th September from 6pm, and will be open from them throughout term every weeknight 6pm until midnight.

Any enquiries or anything you have please speak to a member of the team, once we reopen, on shift who will direct you in the correct place.
